When it comes to selling your home, it's important to make sure that it's in the best condition possible. One area that often gets overlooked is the concrete around your home. Whether it's your driveway, patio, or walkways, dirty and stained concrete can make your home look less appealing to potential buyers. In this guide, we'll go over how to clean your concrete in preparation for a home sale.

Why Clean Your Concrete?

  1. Curb Appeal: The first impression of your home is crucial. When potential buyers pull up to your house, the first thing they'll see is your driveway and walkways. If they're dirty or stained, it can give the impression that the home is not well-maintained.

  2. Safety: Dirty or stained concrete can be slippery, especially when wet. This can create a safety hazard for potential buyers and their families. Cleaning your concrete can help prevent accidents and give buyers peace of mind.

  3. Increased Value: A clean and well-maintained home is more valuable than one that's dirty and run-down. By cleaning your concrete, you can increase the value of your home and potentially get a higher sale price.

  4. Easier to Sell: When your home looks its best, it's easier to sell. Buyers are more likely to be attracted to a home that's clean and well-maintained. By taking the time to clean your concrete, you can make your home more appealing to potential buyers.

How to Clean Your Concrete

  1. Pressure Wash: We use a pressure washer to clean our concrete. You can rent a pressure washer from a home improvement store if you don't own one. Be sure to follow the manufacturer's instructions and wear protective gear.

  2. We add a round power head attachment that easily snaps on to the power washer. It is easy, fun (because you see instant progress) and this method works great!
